Park Rapids, Hubbard County, Minnesota, USA
This insect was spotted outside and kept landing on my arm and the toys in the yard...what can you tell me about them...and are they harmful to humans at all or animals? They look like they have a mean looking stinger!!!

Lepidophora lutea…
These do not bite or sting, and are harmless to humans and pets.
