Spider - Neoscona arabesca
Rowland Heights, LA County, California, USA
August 19, 2012
Size: about 1-2cm
I found this spider and I would be thankful to learn its ID.

Moved
Moved from Spotted Orbweavers. I changed my mind. I'm going for juvenile N. arabesca based on bolder pattern and darker hairs.

Moved to Neoscona
Moved from Spiders. It's a juvenile male. I think I would lean toward N. crucifera.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Orb Weaver, yes,
but looks rather to be in the genus Neoscona. Not sure which one but would lean towards N. arabesca. Let's see what others think.

A male
Orb Weaver, possibly genus Araneus. the exact species I will trust to the experts...
