Brown Recluse - Loxosceles reclusa

Brown Recluse - Loxosceles reclusa
Campbellsville, Kentucky, USA
August 22, 2012
Size: body = 3/4 inch
I was bitten by something last night (hopefully not this) while asleep, and I have found several large common wolf spiders?? lately... So I decided to clean really good and happened upon this behind my couch! After researching the internet to confirm, I found this site and thought I would upload images to get a second opinion. Thanks

I agree and also hope you weren't bitten by this.

Agreed
The eye arrangement is right, and Loxosceles reclusa is the only recluse found in KY. Let's see what others think though.

Spiders are not at all aggressive and bites from them are very rare. It's probable that no spider was responsible.
