Stephanopachys substriatus, male
Moved from Stephanopachys rugosus. ID made from specimen, now a photo-voucher, using (1). Key here was the basal half of the elytral disk having short recumbant setae (vs erect setae in S. rugosus). S. substriatus also has a larger size range (up to 6.5 mm). Thanks Tom.

Moved tentatively; neat one, hope it's vouchered

and will get vouchered.
