Size: Length ~ 1.7 cm
I think this specimen may be an example of the Bald-faced Hornet. Hoping to confirm the ID, if possible. Thanks!

You are certainly correct
Moved from Yellowjackets and Hornets, Paper Wasps; Potter, Mason and Pollen Wasps.
