Small hairy spider - Pardosa

Small hairy spider - Pardosa
Near Ram river falls provincial rec site., Alberta, Canada
July 28, 2012
Size: <1/2 inch
I saw this guy/girl as i was crawling under a log that had fallen across the trail. When i stood back up i forgot that i was under a log. Whacked my head good! I like the upside down heart shaped patten on the body.

Pardosa?
Ouch!

I agree with Laura, definitely a wolf spider. Based on the look of the face from this angle, I'd say genus Pardosa. Let's see what others think.

Wolf Spider (Lycosidae)
Looks like a Lycosidae (Wolf Spider), someone else will probably narrow down the ID further.
