Spider - Castianeira

Spider - Castianeira
Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, USA
Size: about a nickel
I have come across this spider in our living room a few times. One was in a pile of newspapers, and another one started walking across the floor. They are black or blackish with a reddish stripe down the back. I believe the spiders I have seen have been about the size of a nickel, but I am not completely sure of the size as I try to stay far away from them! They may be a little smaller than that.

I'm mainly concerned if it is poisonous. One ran on my leg one time as I picked up a stack of newspaper it was hiding in. I also have two small dogs that like to chase and antagonize bugs, and that also has me a bit concerned.

If you cannot help me identify this spider, do you know someone who might be able to? Thanks.

Of course all spiders have venom but this one will not hurt you.
I am not an expert, so wait for conformation.

okay so i have found a spider like this in my shed, only it has small white lines on either side of the red fat line... so does that sound like the same one?
