It is probably impossible to tell what species from this photo (and most other photos for that matter).

 
Probably I. mexicana.
This is probably Isodontia mexicana. Nothing about this specimen screams that it is anything else:-) Update: the grayish pubescence would tend to rule out I. elegans. The only way to be conclusive is to look at the dentition of the mandibles to exclude I. apicalis, but the more 'slender' nature of this specimen also suggests I. mexicana. Moving to guide page.
