Chinavia pensylvanica

Chinavia pensylvanica
Orris Falls Conservation Area, South Berwick, York County, Maine, USA
September 1, 2012
Size: 1 cm
Swept from a brushy area. I'll try to raise it.

Moved tentatively; i believe we have a strong case

Don Thomas says, "Chinavia pennsylvanica? could be"

any success raising? this beast stumps me...
doesn't look like any asopines i see in the guide... it looks like every genus known to occur in your area can be ruled out, so i'm starting to question the subfamily placement :/
very cool nymph at any rate, tho --yet but for the color it reminds me of Chinavia hilaris

It died the next day...
so I have the specimen pinned. This is the same place where I found my Chinavia pensylvanica - any chance it could be that one?

you know what? i'd go ahead and tentatively move it there...
...cuz it makes so much sense

ha! a good chance, it seems... that would be just marvelous!
