Wasp? - Eumenes bollii

Wasp? - Eumenes bollii
Dewey , Yavapai County, Arizona, USA
August 30, 2012
Size: Medium
Big black eyes with a yellow line. Red/black antennas. The bottom part from the top down has like a black small anchor attached to a bigger black like anchor also ending with black solid lines. The middle part of the body has a shape like a black long neck with orange/red side colors by the end. The upper part of the body has a big black spot with red/orange color to its top following by 2 orange/red squares. Under these squares it has a yellow vertical division followed by a glass shape like with red/orange sides. I though it was a Bumble Bee Parasite Canopied Fly, but the physical description is totally different.

Moved from Eumenes.

Moved from ID Request. In the Northeast two or three genera have similar abdomens. This is the kind of wasp Conopidae mimic.
