Diptera??? - Exoprosopa fasciata
Jackson/Silver Bluff Audubon Center, Aiken County, South Carolina, USA
August 25, 2012
I believe that this is one of the Diptera that is a bee mimic. It was found in a pine-sandhill forest in the coastal plain of South Carolina. Any ID help is greatly appreciated.
