This is a female Trupanea. It
This is a female Trupanea. It looks like T. bisetosa (Coquillett) or T. nigricornis (Coquillett). Females of these two species are difficult to separate. Neither species has been reported from eastern Texas, so it is an extension to the range of one of them. Any chance you can collect some males and preserve them in alcohol?
