You are correct ... 2 species!
the cicada on the left is a male "Swamp Cicada", Tibicen tibicen (ssp. tibicen / syn. chloromerus)
Tibicen tibicen ssp. tibicen [syn. T. chloromerus ssp. chloromerus (Walker 1850)] "Swamp Cicada" or "Morning cicada"
the cicada on the right is a female "Lyric Cicada", Tibicen lyricen (ssp. lyricen var. engelhardti)
Tibicen lyricen ssp. lyricen var. engelhardti (Davis 1910), "Dark Lyric Cicada"
nice specimens - good pic's!
This image clearly helps differentiate T. lyricen engelhardti and Tibicen tibicen.
