8333 – Idia denticulalis?

Moved to Idia "concisa"
Moved from Common Idia.

Tentative ID. See comments below.

Moved to Idia aemula
Moved from Toothed Idia.

Idia denticulalis
My thought too. It's a bit lighter than most I've seen, but the dark marking along the inner margin of each forewing rules out any other Idia as far as I know...

8323 – Idia aemula?
I'm having second thoughts on this one. I think this may to turn out to be Idia aemula. The shape of the transverse lines seem to fit that species better and the reniform lacks the curved black line running through it seen in denticulalis. I checked the BIN cluster for aemula at BOLD here and found several similar examples with a similar "dark marking along the inner margin".

Idia "concisa"
Tentative ID. I see now that the similar images in that BIN are identified as concisa. These specimens form one branch in the taxon tree. My guess is that this undescribed species erroneously identified as concisa will eventually get lumped into aemula.

Thanks
It looked to light to me too which was why I questioned myself on the ID. I just now took a closer look at the original file to see if I messed up on the exposure. I don't think I did but I see now that the paler areas appear worn. Perhaps it was darker when fresh.

Re: Herminiinae IMG_1412
That's what I would say, although I'm hardly an expert.
