Noctuidae: Euxoa tessellata? - Euxoa redimicula

Noctuidae: Euxoa tessellata? - Euxoa redimicula
Emerado, Grand Forks County, North Dakota, USA
September 7, 2012
Size: Length ~ 2 cm
Hmmm...I'll need some help with this specimen. My best guess is that it may be a non-typical Tessellate Dart Moth (10805). Thanks for looking! ;-) This specimen was collected and is archived in the NDSIRC at NDSU, Fargo, North Dakota (contact Dr. Gerald Fauske).

Moved
Moved from Euxoa, according to Jerry Fauske (pers. comm., 13 August 2015). " [This specimen is] E. redimicula (or a variant of E. messoria). Easily settled with specimen in hand. Too late in the year for E. tessellata."
