In the seeds - Tmarus angulatus

In the seeds - Tmarus angulatus
Harms Woods, Glenview, Cook County, Illinois, USA
September 9, 2012
Went seed picking today at Harms Woods and when we brought the seeds home we found this handsome fellow in the Elymus seeds. We also brought home dozens of Pisaurina mira and Mangora placida. Our backyard is alive with spiders now.

Moved
Moved from Tmarus.

We haven't yet tried to get Tmarus images to species
Will have to add that to the todo list!

Seed picking? For your garden
Seed picking? For your garden/backyard? Wikipedia tells me that Elymus is wild rye or wheatgrass. Do you mill this??

Best (and good luck with your grasses),

Kevin

For our restoration work
The seeds will be returned to natural areas along the North Branch where Buckthorn has been removed.

Nice one
Maybe Tmarus angulatus?
