I think this Chrysotoxum
I think this Chrysotoxum. If you look at the sternites in the other image , they are wrong. Megasyrphus tergites are solid black band and the third antennal segment is too long for Megasyrhus.

Thank you! Something felt wrong about this fly, but I was focusing too strongly on the dipped wing vein and forgetting that Chrysotoxum also displays it, and the antennae and abdominal edge serration are much more consistent too. Much appreciated!
