Moth to ID if possible. -
Herpetogramma abdominalis
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
August 11, 2006
This fair sized moth was resting under a leaf. Its mottled wings matched the spots on the leaves pretty well. Any info on it would be appreciated.

Moth ID
Had this moth ID'd as a Pyralid, Pyraustini, Herpetogramma sp. by the Royal BC Museum in Victoria. Any other suggestions? Before it goes into the web site.
