Found in a sweep sample in a planted prairie. The closest thing I could find in my caterpillar book was the striped garden caterpillar, but doesn't match exactly.

There is just something about the shape
that says Condicinae to us, but we can't find it. Wagner does say there are 49 species in that subfamily so it may be one he doesn't illustrate :(

I'm looking at page 369 of Wagner's 2011 book and it has the prominent black head stripes. What about Condica videns?
