Brown Lacewing - Sympherobius

Brown Lacewing - Sympherobius
Montrose, Laurens County, Georgia, USA
March 2, 2012
Size: 8 mm overall length
Found on back porch after dark. I had a silly idea that this group was somewhat monolithic in appearance, but stand corrected. From what I have observed of other images, this specimen appears to have rather large eyes and seems a bit fore-shortened in stature. I wish I could have gotten an overall dorsal shot....

Moved from Sympherobius.

Moved from Brown Lacewings.

Moved from ID Request.

Sympherobius, perhaps.

A lot like amiculus, actually....
but I don't know a thing about these guys to say for sure....Thanks for the pointer!!
