Bee with red legs - Megachile policaris

Bee with red legs - Megachile policaris
32.130, -97.859, Somervell County, Texas, USA
September 10, 2012
Bee with red upper segments on two front pairs. Only front pair has long hairs. The eyes appear green from front angle, but this may be dark eyes showing reflection of front leg hairs. Wings nearly transparent, slight tinted.

Images are a bit soft because they are severe crops (1.5% of original image). I used fill flash.

There is a white crab spider at the base of the Eryngo flower head.

Megachile male?
Almost certainly what this is, based on the other photos uploaded.
Perhaps Dr. Ascher can tell us what subgenus / species this guy is :)
