Male specimen now a photo-voucher, thanks Tom.

No real experience with these, but this seems to be Mycomya imitans Johannsen (using Johannsen's key as well as Fisher's). The coloration is somewhat off, but the hypopygium (genitalia) appears to match Johannsen's illustration (which are not very detailed and somewhat blurry, at least in the scan I have). I wouldn't feel comfortable moving to a species page without seeing more specimens of this genus to compare against.
