Rice Stink Bug - Oebalus pugnax

Rice Stink Bug - Oebalus pugnax
The Woodlands, Montgomery County, Texas, USA
August 12, 2006
I believe this beautiful bug is a True Bug, in the family Miridae. I've been looking there, and haven't seen an exact match. Can someone help us with more information, or help toward ID? Thanks in advance.

stink bug
This is in family Pentatomidae (stink bugs).
As for which species, my guess would be this one:

(Rice stink bug - Oebalus pugnax)

Looks like a perfect match
including the distinctive "horns" on the shoulders. Thanks very much for the ID. I'm moving these to the guide to represent Texas in August.
