Unknown Cockroach - Nauphoeta cinerea - male

Unknown Cockroach - Nauphoeta cinerea - Male
San Diego, San Diego County, California, USA
September 14, 2012
Mottled brown and black spotting on back, wings and body type similar to American Cockroach.

Where in San Diego?
Planning on visiting San Diego in early January and wouldn't mind adding some more photos of this species in the "wild." They used to be in Florida, but appear to have been extirpated many years ago.

Downtown
Hi,
This sample was submitted to my lab for ID and was brought in from an office building in downtown San Diego. I have yet to see another since then, but I would be happy to suggest a few easy access locations that might be helpful in your search. I'd love to see more photos of these guys too!

I'd be happy to look in a few of your suggested locations if I get the chance. Feel free to send me an email via the address in my profile if you're not comfortable providing those locations here. I'll let you know if I find anything!
