Thanks for the ID. I found the bug on the windshield of my work rig and took the photos with a Cannon 40D and a 100mm f2.8 macro lens using the camera's on-board flash. I then transferred it to some more natural settings for the other photos.

I'd never noticed one before but saw another the very next day, must've been that time of year.
