Kuschelina jacobiana (Horn) - Alagoasa jacobiana
Patagonia, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA

Size: 6 mm
Found on Chitalpa x tashkentensis shrub. I counted two mating pairs and three singletons on the plant. Thanks to Carl Olson for the ID - I couldn't find images of this anywhere. Carl wrote that the University of Arizona Insect Collection has specimens "from Pena Blanca, Harshaw, Patagonia, Sonora, Nayarit, VeraCruz, collected June-Sept."

The light maculations on the elytra were light yellow, same as the pronotum, before I dunked it in alcohol.
