Aphid - Uroleucon

Aphid - Uroleucon
Cornell Campus, Tompkins County, New York, USA
September 15, 2012
On Orange jewelweed, Impatiens capensis.

Moved tentatively
Moved from Aphids.

I would guess Uroleucon
But I can't see the siphunculi very well. There are a few species of Macrosiphum that have been observed feeding on this species of plant, but this does have the look of Uroleucon and U. impatiensicolens feeds on the plant. Of course this is just landing on a plant, so it might not even be hosting on it. Unless you observed more than just this specimen?

More
there were multiple life stages that were definitely feeding. Thanks for the help.
