Lynx Spider - Oxyopes scalaris - male

Lynx Spider - Oxyopes scalaris - Male
Bergen County, New Jersey, USA
June 8, 2012
Some kind of Lynx Spider; I'm not sure

Moved to Oxyopes scalaris - Western Lynx Spider
Moved from ID Request. Yes, that ID looks good to me.

Thanks for the ID,
but is a Western Lynx Spider supposed to be In NJ? (I agree with the ID, I just don't know if its supposed to be here or not.) ;)

Yes it is
I know the name is misleading. I now think of it as Western - like the western part of the world. =] It's found across the US.

Oxyopes?
Reminds me of the highly variable Oxyopes scalaris, but let's see what others think.
