Alydus eurinus ? - Alydus eurinus

Size: est. 20mm
Common on sand dune; first noticed in July but increasing all summer with largest numbers in early September. Some are seen walking on sand but most seem to perch on the marram grass and only occasionally seen nectaring at the Seaside Goldenrod.
