Size: 2 in
It looks like the hickory moth but i noticed the design is different. Any ideas?

Lophocampa caryae
It is the hickory tussock moth, just a different instar. Descriptions of larvae typically refer to the final instar, unless they undergo radical changes in appearance while developing.
