Zuphium longicolle LeConte
certainly fits image. Combination of pronotum proportionately elongated and antennomeres long & slender should help separate this species from others.

Mike, although there is no reference to saving this specimen for me in your posted data above, you did list it among other saved species from "2012-09-23" in the summary you had e-mailed me. There was no such specimen in the wet material I received.

I continue to be quite interesetd in the entire tribe Zuphiini (Zuphium, Pseudaptinus, Thalpius) for my ongoing taxonomic research, having recently written a species key for North American Thalpius.

but I thought I sent you a spmn as well. You'll get all of the Zuphiini I coll. from here on out.

PS: I just found the vial with two Z. longicolle spmns that I specifically saved for you. Will send them to you with the first batch I send later this year.

PPS: I believe that the above spmn was the only spmn that I cherry-picked out from what I saved for you and sent to TAMU (for county record purposes).
The vial I inadvertently held back has four carabids, including the following. So the second spmn of Z. longicolle that I just promised to you appears to actually be a Tachys sp...
