Moved from Pterostichus caudicalis.
Does it in fact have some fungus on it, or is that something else?

based on my microscopic examination of this specimen which is now a photo-voucher in the P.W.Messer collection. Thanks Tom.

Note: Pronotal base in this specimen is not sufficiently constricted to be P. caudicaulis.

I didn't notice that
I thought it just had a little dirt on it.
