What is this -
Cryptorhynchus lapathi
Lakewood, Oconto County, Wisconsin, USA
August 14, 2006
I have no idea what this is.....I found it on a leaf. It had a very hard exoskeleton...I would really love to find out what it is

Looks as if it's got it's snout tucked under itself similar to the weevil in this photo:
I don't know what genus/species yours is though. There are many weevils...

Cryptorynchus sp
looks very much alike. I wouldn´t be surprised if these two are the same species.
