There are several
Evergestis
species found in AZ without photos on Bug Guide or Moth Photographers Group that needed to be ruled out. Difficult from this photo but there are enough differences with the living photos on MPG to bring up questions. This matches some specimens at BOLD better than the MPG living photos. Interesting that
E. simulatis
is not on the AZ checklist but we know of it being collected there. The original description was written from CO and AZ specimens.
