Devil Bug - Pelecinus polyturator -

Size: 2 and a half cm??

These are all over the place and like to sun themselves in my garden, they seem to patrol the yard, flying close to the ground and landing often. I assume they are catching and eating ants, or another type of grass dweller bug.
