Phoretic coleoptera larvae????

Phoretic coleoptera larvae????
Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, USA
September 22, 2012
Found this beetle on a flower having trouble moving around, then noticed all of these....hitchhikers? I figure they are phoretic but maybe parasitic? Seem to be coleoptera larvae but my immature ID is not that strong.

Moved
Moved from Blister Beetles.

Moved for expert attention
Moved from ID Request. The beetle does look like Nemognathinae. I don't know about the behavior of the triungulins though.

This looks like it might be
one of the Nemognathine blister beetles??

I was just looking there and
I was just looking there and thinking the same thing!

Fascinating!
Could they be her own?

Possibly?
The thought had crossed my mind. The only phoretic beetle larvae I knew of before this are the blister beetle larvae that hitch onto bees.
