Alpheioides parvulalis - Hodges#5649 photo
here on Bug Guide looks close and
Alpheioides parvulalis
is found in Texas, but I am not sure that photo is identified correctly. Will do some more researching.
Thanks

Not the same specimen. I posted two pictures of what I believe to be the same species. They were taken about 8 days apart at the same location.
Unfortunately I entered the wrong date on the image form so the dates do not make sense and I don't know to edit the original image form for this one AND I do not know how to link the pictures.

I know that
I realized they are different specimens (from your comment on the other page) after I posed that question. Since a comment cannot be deleted, I amended it to those immortal word of Emily Latella, "Nevermind." Did you click on the link in my comment?

Sorry, I did not realize that I should click on that link. I have now done so so I saw the clip.
Because I could not ID the first specimen, I caught the second one. I have a very clear side view of the same specimen if you would like to see that. The moth is aproximately 1/4" long from tail tip to palp tip.
I tried to send this earlier. I hope I am not duplicating the response.
