What plant?
I wish I had seen this sooner. Knowing the plant may help with ID. Some aphids are highly especialized.

Oak
Both genera I mentioned will utilize multiple species of oak as hosts. Species of oak might help narrow it down, might not.

Ooooo awesome images!
I believe this is in the genus
Tuberculatus
but I'm not sure which species. It doesn't match any of the images in the key I have, none of the species have the large first dorsal spinal tubercles. There is one species
Myzocallis tuberculata
that apparently can have "long finger-like tubercles on abdominal tergum I" that I've never seen and can't find any images of. Perhaps this is it.

Thank You Natalie...
I've never seen another aphid like this. Found in my own back yard! I shot some higher magnification images to resolve what I thought to be an attached mite, but turned out to be something else entirely. I hope your ID turns out to be correct.
