Possible Barn Funnel Weaver - Coras

Possible Barn Funnel Weaver - Coras
Stephens City, Frederick County, Virginia, USA
September 28, 2012
I caught this spider in my dining room Friday. At first, I thought it was a nursery web or fishing spider, but the eye pattern didn't seem to match. Itsy Bitsy from spiders.us thought it might be a funnel weaver and suggested I post the pictures here. I searched the DB and it looks like the coloring and eye pattern matches that of the Barn Funnel Weaver (Tegenaria domestica). Just wondering if this is the case.

Coras
I think it's one of the related Funnel Weavers in Coras. The pattern on the carapace doesn't match that of the Barn Funnel Weaver. I'm not sure of which species, lets see what the others think. Nice find!

Agreed
Looks like Coras to me too, especially with the enlarged AMEs visible in the first photo.
