. We see both Grammia and Apantesis in the guide that look like this, so we can't figure out how to get these to genus, sorry.
EDIT: We're beginning to think that G. figurata in the guide is misidentified. None of the Grammia in Wagner look quite like that and
here
's Wagner's image on Discover Life. Looks like these are Apantesis!

Wagner's picture of G. figurina doesn't look anything like these caterpillars. I was thinking of trying to rear one of these caterpillars, but I new the chances of me successfully overwintering it were slim.
