Little Carpenterworm? - Prionoxystus macmurtrei

Little Carpenterworm? - Prionoxystus macmurtrei
Cedar Hill, Dallas County, Texas, USA
March 14, 2012
Looking early spring images came apon this one which I had assumed was Prionoxystus robiniae. It looks like P. macmurtei. This would be a first BG record for Texas.

Lisa,
You're right. Your specimen is a dead-ringer for Mark Dreiling's DNA supported Little Carpenterworm Moth. Besides, it doesn't look anything like 2693 :)
