Subfamily Banchinae - female
Maybe genus Banchus itself. Ichneumons of this group, distantly related to Ophioninae, have this typical outline with a long, laterally compressed abdomen - and often this orange and black color pattern too.

it looks like the same species that I collected in NY and SC...
. It is a species of ichneumon yes but species or genus I don't know
