Stink Bug Nymph - Chinavia hilaris

Stink Bug Nymph - Chinavia hilaris
Reed Turner Woodland, Lake County, Illinois, USA
August 15, 2006
Long shot...can anyone tell the species?

Moved
Moved from Green Stink Bug.

Yes
- unusually for nymphs, this is documented on a University of Kentucky website. Acrosternum hilare (the link to the website is on the info page). Those black dots and leading yellow/orange edge on the later instar nymphs seem to be pretty consistent.

Thanks Hannah!
