What is this large and scary spider? - Dolomedes tenebrosus

Size: large, maybe 4.5 cm total
Two of these appeared in the house this year, one in April and one in late May. Both were relocated to the barn. Never saw this kind previously.

large, common, but not dangerous. just good pest control to have around
