Bald Cypress Sphinx ? - Isoparce cupressi
Ravenel / Caw Caw Interpretive Center, Charleston County, South Carolina, USA
October 3, 2012
Cocytius antaeus? Found on Taxodium distichum.

If confirmed, perhaps this could add to the very few pics of this caterpillar on this site. If not, frass!

Moved- Nice one!
Moved from ID Request.

There is no way this gem is getting frassed. You are correct, this is a bald cypress sphinx (Isoparce cupressi).

Cocytius anteus is a different sphingid, the giant sphinx.
