(1)Identification
Forewing is dark brown with fine flecks of white.
Weak transverse lines with the postmedian line most prominent.
AM line is inwardly oblique and slighly wavy.
PM line takes a sharp turn basally before reaching the costa.
PM line has lighter shading outwardly which helps define it.
Reniform spot absent and claviforn spot weak or absent.
Fringe is brown with lighter spots at the veins.
Hindwing is paler gray.
Range
Arizona to Texas and Mexico.
