Longhorned Beetle Found in Ash Wood - Neoclytus caprea
Fultonham, Muskingum County, Ohio, USA
October 10, 2012
My brother found this beetle on a piece of green ash firewood. I know it is not the Emerald Ash borer or the Asian longhorn, though I am still interested to find out what it is.

Moved from ID Request.

Neoclytus os sorts, most likely N. caprea

ID
Awesome, thanks for the quick ID! It seems to be native, so need to alert the authorities ;)
