To frass or not to frass

I am so glad that I rescued this image from Frass six years ago! It may be slightly out of focus but it is a valuable one, specially now that it has been IDed down to subspecies.

watch out
Watch out, though. Some frasser-editors might get ticked off that you rescued a seemingly unidentifiable photo from their jurisdiction and just delete the photo out of the system. (This just happened over in the robber flies...arg.) Congratulations, though.

luckily, editors cannot delete images
the site admin is the only one who can do that, other than the contributor of the photo.
so the unfortunate disappearance of that robber fly pic has nothing to do with nosotros frassers.
there are people who delete their submission for a variety of reasons; in some cases the contributor gets a good ID on a good image and deletes the item -- being, i suspect, reluctant to leave the image in the Guide.
