Systena sp
this is a species in the genus Systena. Colours are generally variable. This seems a very light induvidual. Although very dull coloured it seems to have a straith stripe; not waved like in Phyllotreta. Size would have been handy...

That's a lot to get from a mediocre photo.

Chrysomelidae.
This is a leaf beetle in the family Chrysomelidae. Judging by the enlarged hind femora, it is in the "flea beetle" subfamily.

Leaf beetles are often tied to one particular host plant, so looking on the kind of plant where you saw the first one may yield more specimens. Plants vary in their toxicity, also, so you might go through plant after plant after plant without finding one beetle, and then find a whole bunch on one individual plant.

 
Interesting
I think this was on sycamore and will pay more attention in the future. The other was on an exotic bush in an arboretum.
