Maccaffertium
Hy Tony,

I believe this female imago to be of genus Maccaffertium. Have never before seen one quite so absent of pigmentation, particularly on its head and thorax. Is that a photographic effect, or did it actually appear such a chalky white?

The mayfly in the photograph
The mayfly in the photograph was as white as the photograph suggests.

Moved/cropped for expert attention; fem.imago heptageniid
others will be more specific, hopefully
